Kevin Joseph O'Reilly

He was a long-time resident of Warminster in Bucks County, PA.

Kevin was born and grew up in southwest Philadelphia, the son of Vincent B. O’Reilly and Margaret T. O’Reilly (Judge). He graduated from West Catholic High School in 1963. He continued his education, graduating from Villanova University with a degree in Psychology and English in 1967. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1967 – 1969 stationed at Fort Benning, GA, where he developed and administered psychological testing of recruits.

Kevin went on to establish a career in Human Resources, working for RCA Service Company in Cherry Hill, NJ; Insurance Company of North America in Philadelphia, PA and retiring after 33 years of service from General Machine Products in Trevose, PA.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Margaret; his brothers Vincent, Gerald, Robert, and John; and his sister Margaret. Kevin is survived by his wife Doris Walsh, married for 40 years and a couple for 53 years; his daughters Colleen Creighton (Michael) of Warrington, PA and Erin O’Reilly (Carl Consalvo) of Gold Hill, Oregon; and his grandchildren Kerry and Alexander Creighton. He is also survived by his sister Annette Hackney (Thomas), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Kevin enjoyed his time as a private pilot from 1978-1987, flying out of Burlington County Airport in New Jersey and Doylestown Airport in Pennsylvania. He belonged to the Warrington Flying Club for several years and enjoyed attending air shows. As a child, he vacationed in Wildwood, NJ with his family, and continued family vacations there with his wife and daughters. Kevin loved being with his family, playing with his grandchildren, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe and visiting his cousins in Ireland and England. Kevin volunteered his time at Buxmont Meals on Wheels and the Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum in Horsham, PA.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM, and interment at Forest Hills Cemetery.
