Maria Soroka

Maria Soroka of Warminster, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Ann’s Choice in Warminster. She was born in Romania on May 24, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Magdalena Heber.

Maria and George Soroka were married in 1952.

We would often find our Mother enjoying her favorite pastime of gardening and her gardens were always spectacular, with an abundance of flowers and vegetables. Cooking and shopping were a favorite pastime as well. Mom always loved going to garage sales and flea markets. Bingo was an enjoyable hobby for her, as well. Most of all, Maria loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late George Soroka.

Fond memories of Maria will be cherished by her son, Walter Soroka, daughter, Helen Priore, son-in-law, John Priore, grandchildren; Dr. Stephanie Trottnow, Albert Trottnow 4th, Jesse Soroka, Kevin Soroka, and her great-grandchildren, Jayden Trottnow and Samantha Cantor.

Family and friends may call on the family on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Viewing will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM with the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
