Ralph E Rambo

Ralph E. Rambo died on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Sunrise of Dresher, in Dresher, PA. He was 92 years of age. Born in Glenside, he was the son of the late William and Irene Harrington Rambo. Ralph was a former resident of Venice, FL and Hatboro, PA.

Mr. Rambo was a retired Postal Worker at the Hatboro Post Office with 33 years of service. He had also worked at Burdick’s New Agency in Hatboro for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer.

Ralph was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He saw action at Guadalcanal, in the Solomon Island, the Gilbert Islands, Saipan and the Marianas Islands. Mr. Rambo was a life member of VFW Post 1711 in Jenkintown.

Ralph was the beloved husband of Mary T. Spahn Rambo for 69 years. He was the devoted father of Suzanne Krueger (Woodrow), Judith DeVita (Andrew) both of Venice, FL, Ralph E. Rambo, Jr. (Donna) of Hatboro, Marilyn Convery (Edward) of Warminster, and Jean Falgoust of Hatboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his sister Peggy Wehmeyer and numerous nieces and nephews.
