He served in the United States Air Force and Navy as an air traffic controller. On May 22, 1965 he married the love of his life Lillian Angie Brown of Glenside and Southampton, and one year later their only child Christopher was born. The Orzechowski’s made their home in Horsham and lived there for 33 years before moving to Montgomeryville in 1999.
After leaving the military in 1970 Richard accepted a job with William H. Rorer Inc. a pharmaceutical company located in Fort Washington, PA and retired from the company in 1992.
As a young man Richard enjoyed golfing, but in his later years he delighted in traveling through the US, Europe and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed spending time at their trailer in Dennisville, NJ and walking on the beach in Avalon.
Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years Lillian, his son Christopher, daughter in law DeeAnne, granddaughters Alina and Klara and granddog Heidi.
A service is scheduled for June 25, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
