Robert Benson

Born in Meadowbrook, he was a lifelong resident of Huntingdon Valley and Feasterville.

Robert worked at the Willow Grove Training Center for 40 years. He was an active participant in the Special Olympics for many years and an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

He will be remembered for the positive influence he had on the lives of those who knew him.

Robert was pre-deceased by his parents, Leroy and Eunice Benson. He is survived by his siblings, Bonnie Ritter, Terry Benson, Gary Benson (Janice), Joette Hausmann (Alex), Donald Benson, Maryanne Wills and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 10-11am at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home in Southampton. Services will be held at 11am, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s Memory may be made to the Willow Grove Training Center 2710 Terwood Rd. Willow Grove, PA 19090.
