
Born December 14, 1927, he was the son of Helen and Harold Stoudt.
He was a person who loved the outdoors, being an avid boater and continued hunting until he was 91.
He was a graduate of Lansdale High School in 1945. After discharge from the Army in 1947, he graduated from Taylor’s School of Business and then from Charles Morris Price School of Advertising and Journalism, now known as Morris University.
He was employed by Sharp & Dohme, now Merck, leaving there in 1964. He was then employed by Pytronics Inc. in Montgomeryville until 1983. It was then that Roland left Pytronics Inc. with his friend and coworker, Joseph Cotignola, and started Meldena Sales Inc., a manufacturer representative for a number of manufacturers of electronic wire and cable. He retired in 2007 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly and his three daughters; Lisa Kelshaw and her husband Ron and their daughter, Lauren; Laurie Esposito and her husband Michael and their children, Meghan, Cameron, and Carleigh; Melissa Caikoski and her husband Charles and children, Charles and Emily. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Services will be held privately.
