On January 22, 2017, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Alicia Tamara (“Tammy”) Mills, age 45, who went to live with our Father in Heaven after a sudden illness. Tammy, even though we will always carry you in our hearts, we shall miss the beauty and laughter you have added to our lives, but are thankful for the years we were given to know and love you.
Tammy was born October 16, 1971, in St. Augustine, Florida, and moved in 1978 to Southport, where she resided until her passing. She was a 1990 graduate of South Brunswick High School, and was currently employed with Tropical Treats on Oak Island.
Tammy leaves behind her mother, Betty Lamster; father, Edward Spencer; two daughters, Kayla and Victoria; brother, John (“Billy”) Parsons and wife Janice; soulmate Brad Bailey; niece Piper Parsons, who Tammy had a special fondness for; and her very special aunt Donna Allen, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, at the Moose Lodge on Long Beach Road. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge.
A GoFundMe account can be found on New Brunswick Baptist Church’s Facebook page or www.gofundme.com under the name of Alicia Tamara Mills.
