Anne always had a twinkle in her eye and a Mona Lisa smile. She grew up traveling with her parents spreading the Seventh Day Adventist gospel. The family settled in Tacoma Park, Maryland to help build the Seventh Day Adventist Conference. In her younger years she was a model, worked at the FCC, and then moved to Orlando, Florida where she met her devoted husband, and transitioned to her greatest accomplishment as a wonderful loving wife and mother. She quickly took on the challenge of being a Military wife. She helped the family transition with every move, “home is where you hang your pictures” she would say with a wink. She became an accomplished Realtor in Miami, Florida, a two time breast cancer survivor, and faithfully cared for her husband until his death in 2004. She moved to Oak Island to live with her daughter and two grandchildren in 2006.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, LT COL Philip B Price Jr of Brevard, NC.; grandson Patrick Quinn Jr; great grandsons Micheal Miller, and Christian Miller; and Alberta Nickles who was more a sister than a cousin.
She is survived by her son Philip “Brooks” Price III and his wife Carolyn of Lake Worth, FL; daughters Cheryl Kitzi and her husband Scott of Molena GA, and Elaine Painter of Oak Island NC. Grandchildren; Philip Brooks “BJ” Price IV and Jenni of Lake Worth FL, Mark and Julie Miller of Meridian, Idaho, John Miller of Olmar, FL, Paul and Mimi Miller of Tampa Fl, Michelle Lapidus of Columbus, GA, Benjamin and Nichole Painter of Oak Island, NC, and 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to her loving granddaughter Nichole for providing wonderful and loving care to her grandmother, Benjamin for his assistance and the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
Service will be conducted on November 21st, 2015, 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Oak Island, Oak Island, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice. https://lcfhospicefoundation3233.thankyou4caring.org/ or 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
