Carol Lee was born December 18, 1943 in Roxboro, NC, daughter of the late John Daniel Talbert and Ernestine Russell Talbert. She retired from the Person County School System where she taught math for 30 years. Carol Lee loved her garden, flowers, walking on the beach, collecting seashells, playing Bridge, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, James Blanks, John Blanks and wife Michelle, and Craig Blanks and wife Danae; four grandchildren, Josh Blanks, Daniel Blanks, Annalee Blanks, and Mary Francis Sosa; a great-grandson, Michael Sosa; two great-granddaughters, Parker Blanks and Teagan Blanks; and a sister, Sarah Jane Talbert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Daniel Talbert, Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
