

Born on the 26th of May, 1934, in the scenic city of Burlington, Vermont, he leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Quinn; their devoted son, David Quinn Jr.; his caring daughter-in-law, Ria; and his cherished grandsons, Sean Patrick and Evan James Quinn.
A Vermont native, David answered the call of duty, serving with honor in the United States Navy for eight years. His professional life was marked by a distinguished career in the industrial scale industry, contributing his expertise to Howe Scale and Fairbanks Scales.
An enthusiastic golfer, David channeled his passion for the sport into organizing and overseeing the St. James St. Patrick's Day Golf Tournament for 17 years. His efforts not only fostered community spirit but also supported a cause close to his heart, with proceeds benefiting the North Carolina Alzheimer's Foundation in their fight against Alzheimer's disease.
The family will have a celebration of this life on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the St James Plantation Beach Club, 100 SE 72nd St, Oak Island, NC 28465, where loved ones will gather to honor David's memory.
His generous spirit and heartfelt contributions to his community will be deeply missed by all who know him.
