

Eddie was born July 17, 1951 to Damon Huff and the late Sally Eversole Huff. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served in Vietnam. He liked to show his support by donating to Wounded Warriors and other military causes, and was a member of VFW Post 10400. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he let everyone know it! He had an unwavering faith in God and love for his family. Eddie was also a proud fan of the Carolina Panthers, especially number 59, Luke Kuechly. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Irvine Huff and Herman Huff.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Frazier and husband Adam of Southport and Juleigha Marie Huff of Oak Island; three grandsons, Hayden Frazier, Garrett Frazier and Mason Howlett. He is also survived by five brothers, William, Sherman, Albert, JD, and James Ivey; three sisters, Anne, Martha, and Mallie; many nieces and nephews. He never remarried and remained close with his former wife and friend, and mother of his two daughters, Pamela Rowsey and her husband James Rowsey.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2pm Friday, May 8, 2015 at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service with Reverend Raymond Hayes officiating. Inurnment will follow at the family cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
