Garrett Wayne Mellor, age 74, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Garrett was born April 9, 1948 in Bracken County, Kentucky to the late Charles Thomas and Rebecca Jane Mellor.
Garrett is survived by his wife, Debbi; his children David, Heather, and Edward; his brothers, Charles and Eddy, and his sister Tina; his three grandchildren, Dakota, Sidney, and Colton; and his four-legged children, Charlie, Iddy, and Jwanna.
Garrett proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He later went on to teach school at South Brunswick and worked as a general contractor building homes in St. James.
In his retirement years he loved to go camping and fishing with his wife and fur babies.
