Jack Raleigh

Mr. Raleigh was born December 3, 1941 in Kentucky the son of the late Denver and Callie Raleigh. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bolivia and had served in the US Army. Mr. Raleigh was retired from Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point. He was a member of the Pythagoras Lodge #249 and was a Shriner with the Sudan Thunderbolts where he drove the wrecker. Mr. Raleigh loved to hunt and fish; he was known and loved by everyone in his community. Mr. Raleigh was preceded in death by a son Stephen Raleigh and a daughter Amanda Frye.

Survivors include his two sons, Brian Raleigh and wife JoAnn of Bolivia, and Brandon Raleigh and fiancée Andrea McNeill of Winnabow; a brother Donald Raleigh of the home; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

The family will have visitation on Monday, November 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Fairfax officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery.
