Kathy spent her 25+ year career with the Washington Sanitary Suburban Commission, working as a Budget Analyst. After retirement, she moved to Southport, North Carolina in 2016, fulfilling her dream to live by the ocean.
Kathy was a master baker, an amazing party planner, crafter, and devoted Jimmy Buffett Parrot-Head. With family and lifelong friends, she traveled throughout the Caribbean and shared crazy adventures including river rafting, sky diving, and zip-lining.
Kathy will be remembered for her magnetic personality, contagious smile and laughter, her kind, generous, giving and loving heart, and her selfless devotion to family, her rescue cats, Cheeto and Tuxie, and to charities helping those in need. Until we meet again, on the other side, you are forever loved and remembered.
