Ms. Pierce was born May 12, 1961 in Danbury, Connecticut the daughter of the late Paul and Bobbie Beardsley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, a compassionate sister, and friend. Paula put everyone else first even during her courageous four year battle with cancer. She had last worked in the Wal-Mart bakery in Southport.
Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy Pierce of Oak Island, and Brandon Pierce of Mayville, TN; a daughter Lechelle Pierce of Bolivia; two brothers Chris Beardsley, and Brian Beardsley; a sister Holly Bernard; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Tristian, Rajon, Braylon, Jayma, and Khaleesi.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 16, 2017 in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel with hospice Chaplin Gary Lowe officiating.
