Philip Maria Bill Dela Paz

Born July 11, 1954, in Sta. Mesa, Manila, Philippines to Jose Dela Paz and Roberta Bill Dela Paz, he graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines with a degree in Zoology. Also, graduated in the University of the Philippines with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, NC.

He married his beloved wife, Maria Lourdes C. Dela Paz; in 1976, and together they raised five children.

Philip loved to play golf, spending time fishing with his wife and children. He was a bird enthusiasts, grill master, skilled handyman and loved animals, He was known for his sense of humor (always cracking jokes), very dependable with unwavering kindness.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria Lourdes C. Dela Paz; his children and (their spouses).

Dela Paz (partnerJD Dizon), and Grace Dianne C. Dela Paz (Mark Enriquez); his grandchildren, Tristiana Kaye S. Dela Paz, Natalie Linh D. Nguyen, Rizelle Carola V. Dela Paz, Tristan Kyle S. Dela Paz, Ethan Martin V. Dela Paz, Tyler Kent S. Dela Paz, Marcus Gage D. Enriquez, Charles Maverick Dizon, Mia Giselle D. Enriquez, Mason Grae D. Enriquez and Mallan Quaid Dela Paz. His siblings and their children, Cynthia Vallar and her husband, Bob Vallar, Vivian Dela Paz, Angelica George, Walter James Dela Paz and his wife, Tetet Dela Paz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Ariel Dela Paz, Joel Dela Paz, Marylou Armenta, Sandra Manapat and Melvin Dela Paz.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Peacock Newnam and White Funeral Home in Southport. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport.
