Mrs. Johnson was born March 1, 1953, daughter of the late James and Ressie Suggs Milliken. She was known as the “First Lady” of The Olive Branch Church. Mrs. Johnson was a beloved mother and wife. She was also known as “Nanny” not only to her grandchildren, but also to their many friends.Preceding Mrs. Johnson in death was her sister Kay Barbe.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her husband, Reverend James Johnson of Leland; children, Mike, Vickie, Jason, and Erica; four brothers; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at The Olive Branch, Mt. Misery Road, Leland. Burial will follow in Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery.
