Ronald was born in San Francisco, CA and served in the USMC.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Wiley Rhodes; his daughter Michelle Hedrick (Dennis) of Suffolk, VA; his son, Neal Rhodes of Southaven, MS; stepsons, Jeff and Greg; step daughters, Lisa and Tina; grandkids, Jessica and Nicolas; 8 step grandkids; great grandkids, Devin and Gavin; and 10 step great grandkids.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Peacock-Newnam and White Funeral and Cremation on Saturday, February 18th at 2 pm and the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cape Fear Memorial Park, Southport, with military honors.
