Sandra Ann Goss

She was born on July 27, 1946. Sandy grew up in Indian Orchard, MA after being born in Burlington, VT and graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, MA. Voted Ms. Congeniality at a Ludlow beauty pageant, Sandy originally had aspirations of becoming a movie star. She later went to Harvey’s Cosmetology School in Springfield, MA on her path towards her love of hair and skincare. She eventually took over and ran Fancy Fingers Nail & Skincare Salon in Amherst, MA, for over 30-years, where she was the name to go to in the area. Sandy had friends all throughout the community and was a strong business woman where she prided herself on keeping and building connections with everyone. Sandy eventually migrated away from the snow to Southport, NC where she would be close to her sisters, and the beach which she loved. Together, with her loving partner of 20-years, Jonathan Gray, they enjoyed traveling, near and far, and exploring the new land they moved to. She loved having her son Michael, his girlfriend Ashley and especially little Olivia come and visit and the bonds they formed were lifelong. After moving to North Carolina, Sandy kept working and brought her same expertise and joy to people's lives, while making new connections. Sandy was always there to lend an ear and even a helping hand and made a long lasting impact on people's lives.

Sandy leaves her partner, Jonathan Gray of Southport, NC, her son Michael Goss of West Springfield, MA and his partner Ashley Stafford and daughter Olivia Messier of Chicopee, MA, daughter, Michelle Goss of Sebastian, FL, son Jeffrey Russell of Louisville, KY, sister Diane and her husband Chris Gray of Conway, SC, sister Pam Germain of Conway, SC, brother Nick and wife Colleen Korniotes of Forest City, NC and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date at the family's wishes.
