He was the beloved husband of Christine (Towpasz) Florie. He was born October 3, 1953 and preceded in death by his parents VJ and Ruth Florie of Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He attended Midpark High School and graduated from the University of Dayton with an Electrical Engineering degree and spent most of his career consulting in the power industry throughout the US. He was known for always being jovial and could make anyone smile.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael and a daughter, Stephanie.
A mass to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 178 Linwood Ave. Colchester, Connecticut.
