Carole was a woman of quiet resilience. She met life’s challenges with courage, strength and determination. She cared deeply for her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her friends. She was loyal and devoted to all with lots of love to give.
Although our hearts our broken we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the lessons she taught, the memories we have and the many lives she touched.
Carole was married to our beloved father and grandfather Mike who passed away in 2001. Together they built a strong and loving family whose lives continue to reflect the values they instilled—love, kindness, strength, and devotion.
Carole loved the simple joys that brought people together: the clacking of mahjong tiles, friendly bingo competition and card games. She also had a creative talent of designing her own clothing with paint, patchwork and bedazzling. All these moments reflected who she was-social, warm, joyful and always ready to make others feel comfortable and welcome.
Carole is survived by her, her beloved children: Richard and Kasia, Gary and Roberta, Jeff and Sheryl. She is also lovingly remembered by her cherished grandchildren Joshua, Danielle, Jamie, Justin, Alexa and Arianna. She is survived by brother Bruce Bayer and sister in law Sandy
Her legacy continues through her treasured great-grandchildren: Ryleigh Mae, Joey Jr., Olivia, and Thomas.
