David (Dave) Greenough passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2023, at the age of 76 after a long illness. He was born on December 12, 1946, in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of Charles and June (Palmer) Greenough who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years Robin (Goldner) and two brothers, Richard and James, and sister, Deborah. He was also very close to his eight nieces and nephews.
David graduated from Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan where he excelled in sports and academics. He then graduated from Michigan State University with a Mechanical Engineering degree and took his first engineering job Cleveland, Ohio. A fateful holiday season in Florida convinced David to become a lifelong Florida resident. He moved to Miami and then to Weston where he and Robin enjoyed their life together. David and Robin travelled extensively and particularly enjoyed cruises to many parts of the world. On a professional level, David had a very successful career as Engineering Manager working with Warren Technologies for over 38 years.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the caring staff of the Cleveland Clinic in Weston for the treatment he received. In particular, Dr. Arteta-Bulos and Dr. Alok Shrivastava who deeply cared for David.
