Gilles Vigeral

Our beloved Gilles Vigeral passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023 at the age of 65, with his family beside him. Gilles was born on July 24, 1957, in Paris, France. He moved from Puerto Rico to Weston Florida with his family in 2007. He had a successful career working in the beauty industry with leading companies such as Loreal and Elizabeth Arden, as General Manager within the Caribbean and Latin America International markets, where he, not only was, an outstanding professional, but where he made many friends around the world.

Gilles left us much too soon, but the memories built throughout his life sustain us in this difficult time where he is absent from our daily lives. He lived his life loving, caring and smiling to all those that were close to him. He was smart, passionate, compassionate, patient and determined. He was an avid storyteller and had a contagious sense of humor. It was hard to be mad at him. With Gilles, we shared his enthusiasm for traveling, and everywhere we went he showed us his love for history. His cooking abilities is also something to remember and he was a great host to all who visited our home. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and sailing in his catamaran, activities in which beautiful memories were created. Adventures that his family and friends will never forget. We have had a great loss, but the life and memories built makes our hearts smile. He is so very much missed, but now we say, “until we see each other again”.

Gilles is survived by Mayda, his dear wife and best friend of 20 years, his daughter Mariana Vigeral, his step children Nicole and Michael King, his grandson Wells Adams, his brother, Phillipe Vigeral, his brother-in law Felix Nevares, his mother in- law Myrta Irizarry, his two sons in- law, Nicolas Jubert and Randell Adams, as well as his dear and loyal four legged friend Stella.

His family will hold a private tribute at sea in his honor and love for the majestic blue ocean, which he cherished so much.
