

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1923. Gloria grew up in a two bedroom home with her parents Samuel and Esther Weiner, sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew. She graduated from high school and worked full-time doing secretarial work at a law office until she met her husband Alvin Feinman. They were married in October 1950 and moved to Queens, NY where their three children were born. They settled in Rockland County, NY where they opened an art gallery/framing shop “The Picture House”. They retired to Florida in the early 1980’s where Gloria found her love for the Sunshine State. She became very active in her Pembroke Pines Century Village community where she enjoyed playing games such as mahjong and canasta with friends and seeing live shows and movies. She became an active member of the Pembroke Pines Jewish Center. She even received her Bat Mitzvah there!
Gloria is predeceased by her husband Alvin, brother Irving Weiner, and sister Sara Feinman. She is survived by her twin daughters Wendy Buckler and Maris Taylor, daughter Ellen Sobczak, and grandchildren Brianna Buckler, Harris Taylor, Amanda Taylor, and Scott Rifkin.
Services will be held at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332 on Friday February 2, 2024 at 12:30pm. Shiva will follow at 2:30pm at Gloria’s home. Gloria was known for her great sense of humor, kindness, and compassion, and was loved by all who had the pleasure to know her.
