Colin was a student in my class during the spring 2014 semester. He was
a kind, sensitive and intelligent young man. The day he left class, he
gave me a book on the intuitive way. I will never forget him. It is a

May God bring you ease in this time of need. I'm so sorry for your loss. Wayne you and kathy have always been a great part if our lives and a huge part in my dad's life. The pain you are feeling seems like it will never subside, bit it will one day. My heart hurts knowing that great people like you have to deal with something so tragic. I love you guys. I was Colin's psychology professor at Sussex County Community College.  What a wonderful young man he was!  So smart, so insightful and so kind.  He was the kind of guy who gave me hope for the future.  And what a writer!  His mind could probe so deeply into the complex issues we discussed in class.  Colin will be deeply missed by those of us at SCCC who were honored to know him.

RIP Colin terrible loss of such a nice young man ??

Forever etched in my mind Collin will be the little boy who grew up, next door.  I have fond memories of watching Collin and Mark playing on the swings and running between yards. As a new home owner thinking how wonderful it was to see kids playing outside, like the “good old days”.  A little bit older and we could judge when the Mackey's were home by the rhythmic sound of Collin outside practicing his skateboard on his ramp.  Every once in a while he would terrify us like watching him ride his skateboard down the steep hill of Maple Road or deciding to do snowboarding tricks off the roof of the van.  As an early teen the groups of girls that would walk up and down Maple Road hoping to get a glimpse of the shy good looking young man he had become.  When he got his license we always remarked what a good driver he was because he drove slowly and alert up our hill.  Other teens his age referred to him as kind and caring.  His intelligence and dedication to advance his education seen on SCCC's website of Dean's list Spring 2014.  My condolences to Wayne, Cathy, Erin, and all of Collin's friends and family for their tragic loss.  May God comfort his family and friends at this great time of loss.
