Daniel A. Gelsomino

Born in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Louis and Marie (Antinozzi) Gelsomino. He was a Hazleton High School graduate and a U.S. Army veteran.

Prior to retiring, he was employed as a retail salesman. Daniel was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, Mt. Arlington, NJ.

Ever the joker and tinkerer, his favorite pastime was having his daughters and grandkids pay him weekly visits. He has ventured out on camping trips, sat at sporting events, and spent endless hours at the lake so he could enjoy as much time with his family as possible, especially if it included eating a meal or having dessert.

Daniel is predeceased by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lois (nee: Brown) Gelsomino. He is the devoted father of Danielle E. Harkins and her husband Thomas of Hillsborough and Laura L. Westervelt of Sparta, and loving grandfather of TJ, Michael, Nicolene, Emma, and Daniel, and the uncle to niece Marie Gelsomino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 24th at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, 8 Windemere Ave., Mt Arlington, NJ 07856. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave., East Hanover, NJ 07936.
