Dorothy M. Lind

Dorothy M. “Dori” Lind, 88, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2015 surrounded by her beloved family. Dori was born in New Haven, CT and lived in Sparta from 1958 until 2 years ago when she moved to Franklin. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. Edward C. Lind. Dori is survived by her devoted children: Susan Kobler and her husband Scott of Essex Fells, E. Carl Lind ll and his wife Mary of Toms River, Mark Lind and his wife Diane of Dingmans Ferry, David S. Lind and his wife Regina of Pennington, and James Lind of Sparta. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Alicia and her husband Jason, Annalise and her husband Bud, Brad and his wife Jackie, Meghan and her fiancé Rob, and Kendra; and great grandchildren: Jimmy and Lily. Dori dedicated her life to her home and family. During her later years she enjoyed travel, bridge, mahjong and ceramics and was an avid quilter. Friends may gather to celebrate her life on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 2-6pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Colorful, casual attire is encouraged.
