

He was 81.
Bud was born in Mine Hill, NJ to Gordon and Dorothy (Stephens) Turner and was a longtime resident of Sparta.
He served his country proudly in the US Navy from 1950-54’ serving as a machinist apprentice on the USS. Francis M. Robinson (EDE-220). Bud was a Charter member of the North Jersey Motorcycle Club, and member of the Tri- County Motorcycle Club. He held memberships in the Muskenetcong Masonic Lodge, Past Chief of the Mine Hill Rescue Squad, and honorary member of the Sparta Volunteer Fire Department.
Bud previously was employed for over 20 years in the maintenance department with The Bank of New York/ Chase Bank prior to his retirement.
Predeceasing him is a son; Glenn J. Turner.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Christine V. (Kullmann) Turner, a son; James and wife Denise of Mine Hill, a daughter; Brenda Vigorito and husband David of East Stroudsburg, Pa, a sister; Elsie Sarles of Mine Hill, and six grandchildren; Jake, Jesse, John, and Amber Turner, Carly and Matthew Vigorito.
