Karen Mary Nelson, 61, of Sparta, passed away on July 1, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born in NYC, NY and was a resident of Sparta for many years. Karen worked as a teachers’ aide in the Sparta school system where she was active in the PTA. She worked as a programmer/analyst for M&M Mars in Hackettstown, NJ. Karen is predeceased by her father Joseph Lozowski and her beloved son Tommy. Karen is survived by her loving husband Thomas; her beloved daughter Stephanie; her mother Anne Lozowski; sister Joanne Hector; step daughter Rebecca Rysewyk and her husband Jonathan and grandchildren: Alexandra and Emerson Rysewyk. Friends may call Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 11am Thursday, July 7th, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ.
