Linda Lee Griffin

Linda Lee Griffin, age 65, of Sparta, NJ passed away on August 30, 2021. Linda was born October 23, 1955 in Malden, Massachusetts to the late James and Mary Harris. She was the beloved wife of Gary Griffin for 36 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Linda grew up in Rockaway, NJ and attended Morris Hills High School. She moved to Lake Mohawk in Sparta, NJ where she had been a resident and member of the Lake Mohawk Country Club since 1986. She was an aspiring artist and wonderful homemaker and took pride in caring for her family dog Gracie. She loved to listen to music and never missed an episode of her favorite soap opera, General Hospital. She will be remembered by family and friends for her sense of humor, her beautiful smile, and her kind and caring nature.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Gary; son Jay Goldberg and his girlfriend Ashley of Lake Tahoe, CA; daughter Katie Griffin and her fiancé Stu of Gorham, ME; her granddaughter Melody Goldberg of Ocala, FL; her two brothers, Jim Harris of Sparta, NJ, and Dave Harris and his wife Lisa of Denville, NJ; her brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

A service in remembrance of Linda will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 5pm at Sparta United Methodist Church 71 S Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871.
