It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Nella E. Bisoglio, age 91, of Sparta, New Jersey, who peacefully departed this life at her home surrounded by her devoted family on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Nella was born in the vibrant city of Torino, Italy on July 11, 1933. While in Torino, Nella assisted in her mother’s tailoring and textile shop. During World War II, she and her family relocated to Lu, a countryside village, where she worked alongside her mother in the family’s Delicatessen and Five-and-Ten Store. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Marco. In effort to create a better life for future generations, Nella courageously moved to the United States, eventually helping her family join her in building a new life in New Jersey.
Nella built a warm and loving home while also thriving as a real estate agent, guiding families in finding homes of their own. After retiring from real estate, she opened her yarn shop where she happily shared her passion, skills, and creativity in knitting with her community. In her spare time, Nella found joy in knitting, reading books of all genres, and solving Italian crossword puzzles. Nella will always be remembered for her endlessly kind and selfless nature, her enduring faith, and unwavering love for her family.
Nella is lovingly remembered by her loving husband, Marco Bisoglio; her children George Bisoglio (Barbara), Roberto Bisoglio (Jeannie); and Elise Nestico (Michael); her grandchildren Derek and Arielle Bisoglio, Tara and Nikki Bisoglio, Alessia Alkhoury, Andréa and Massimo Nestico; her brother Claudio Bozzo; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Secondo and Giuseppina Bozzo, her brother Germano Bozzo, her son Roberto Bisoglio, and her loving husband, Marco Bisoglio, who joined her the following day on February 3, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4PM - 8PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8th at 12PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 294 South Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ.
