Olla C. Mongiovi

Olla C. Mongiovi, 74, of Sparta, NJ passed away on August 14, 2015. Olla was born in Brooklyn and lived in Newark before moving to Sparta 48 years ago. She worked her whole live as an accountant and was working up until the time of her death as owner and operator of Sussex County Tax Service in Sparta. Olla loved to read and travel and was a longtime member of her beloved card club and Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Mongiovi Sr and her beloved sons: Frank B. and Christopher Mongiovi. Olla is survived by her devoted son Joseph A. Mongiovi Jr and his wife Kathleen of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren: Sarah, Rachel, Daniel and Jessica; great grandsons: Frank and Mitchell; sister Patricia Ferguson and brothers; Michael and Robert Young and longtime friend Celeste Liaci. Friends may call Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ 07871. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
