Audrey C. Morphew

Audrey C. Morphew, 85, was born to Dolph and Sarah Caudill and was a lifetime resident of Spokane, WA . She is survived by her son, Gary Morphew (Sharon); two daughters, Nancy Hutton (Paul) and Patricia Hansen (Lyle); nephew, Geff Morphew (Lori); niece, Janice Thomas; nine grandchildren, Robert Morphew, James Morphew, Stephen Kelley, Christine Kelley , Randy Hutton, Peter Hutton, Erica Morphew, Bryan Morphew, and John Hutton; three great grandchildren, Hayley Luoma, Landon Hutton and Maxwell Morphew and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Maxwell Morphew in 1991; brother, Kenneth Caudill and three sisters, Gladys Porath, Edna McGovney and Pauline Morphew. Audrey worked for many years at the Stock Exchange and retired from the United Way in 1989. She did volunteer work at Valley Hospital and Medical Center for over 10 years. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Sullivan Park for their loving care of Audrey. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley. Private inurnment will be at Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley. Memorials in Audrey’s name may be made to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, 1004 E. 8th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202 or your favorite charity.
