Beverlee Lue Westenskow was born on January 3, 1948, in Spokane, Washington. She passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, in Elk, Washington.
Beverlee was the proud mother of 12 beautiful children. All of whom, she welcomed into this world with great excitement and love.
(It was not cheaper by the dozen)😊
Her family, thanks to our hard-working father, was blessed to have her as a “Stay at Home” mother. Where she taught the importance of kindness, honesty, working hard, morals, etc.
She taught us the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the importance and power of prayer, faith, and to know and feel that we were children of God.
When we’d fight as kids, she’d have us memorize the lyrics to the song, “I’m trying to be like Jesus.” Then sing it to each other. More often than not, this would solve the problem, because none of us were great singers. Anger turned into laughter and laughter turned into love. We never doubted the love she felt for each of us, or for her husband. She was always there for a hug, a phone call, or a motherly conversation.
There is no love greater than that of our mother.
She was the heart of our family — a woman known for her sweet spirit, gentle kindness, and unwavering love for those around her. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, It radiated in her countenance. Her home was a place of warmth, faith, uplifting music, laughter, and welcoming to all who entered. A haven that radiated her love for Christ, her husband, and her family.
Joe and Bev (Hub and Wub) share a love of a lifetime. The most beautiful love story, for nearly 59 years, and into the eternities. Their devotion, selfless love, integrity, sacrifice, and humor were like no other.
Dad was her calm, and she was his whole life. Though Dad has lost part of his heart, we know it will be mended again.
We all find comfort in knowing that families are forever, and we will be together again. For that day, we all yearn.
Her Christlike love, her beautiful smile, her silly sense of humor, and her pure spirit, will be missed beyond words. Her influence and example will live on in the lives of her family and all who were blessed to know and love her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe, and her children Joie, Kari, Sheri, James, Jeni, Rachel, Anna, Jeff, David, Brannen, and Bodey. 39 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Juana McKinley, and her precious daughter, Tia. What a joyful reunion that must have been.
Guaranteed, they are picking beautiful wildflowers together and mom telling her so many wonderful stories.
Sweet momma, dear wife, and grandma, your spirit is felt everywhere.
Thankfully, we have all been blessed with so many tender mercies amongst our new reality.
We love and miss you so much, so much.
Till we meet again.
