Christola Wilkinson Howard

She was united in matrimony to her husband Tyrie Howard Jr. Of 54 years. To this union was born one son, the late Byron C. Howard.

Sis. Howard was a member of First Baptist Church of Pacific Grove, CA. Shortly after her arrival in Spokane, WA. Sis. Howard joined The Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Sunday School Department, Missionary Society, and a member of WIMA. Sis. Howard worked as an LPN, Teacher, Housekeeper and Cook. She was a past member of the Spokane Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Star Washington Jurisdiction and was awarded Grand Life membership in 2022. She was a foster parent in California & Washington State, and a member of the NAACP.

Cherishing precious memories of Sis. Howard is her Grandson Phillip Howard, Granddaughter Antoinette Howard, Granddaughter Christola Salgado (David), Grandson Tyrone Howard (Nicole). Great Grandchildren; Peyton Howard, Preston Howard, Emmanuel Salgado, Serena Salgado, Julian Salgado, Christola (Lola) Salgado, Ember Howard, and Tyrie Howard. Nephew Conrad Person, niece Annice Lay, Carrol Givens, Dr. Deloisteen Brown, and a host of other relatives and friends.
