

Born June 13th 1942 in Bismarck, North Dakota, he lived in Steele, North Dakota before relocating to Spokane in 1963. For many years he worked in the meat cutting business starting with Rice Meat Packing, eventually moving on to manage Rosauers Meat Departments. His profession changed to accommodate his physical disabilities. He then became co-owner of an interstate trucking company and eventually a Realtor before retiring in 1990. Survivors include his wife and soul mate of 51 years, Karen, who was also the love of his life, son Kevin (Jennie) of Yakima, WA, daughter Sherrie (Mike) Daschbach of Spokane, son Michael (Charlene) of Redmond, OR, daughter Julie (Becky) of Spokane, Grandsons Aaron and RJ, Granddaughters, Barbara, Amanda, Alysha, Krissy, Amylia, and Caitlin, and Great Grandchildren, Andrew, Austin and Konnor. He is also survived by his brother, Paul (Carolyn), sister, Donna, of Spokane, and brother, David of Georgia. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Troy.
Cliff had a kind heart and could always be counted on to be there for family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or camping and could always be found out in the shop, scooting around the yard in his golf cart or scooter, or up on the tractor.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday January 25th at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 North Pines Road. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 17825 East Trent following the service. Viewing will be Tuesday evening, January 24th, from 4:00 to 8:00 at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.
