Daryl Jay Peterson

Daryl was born on April 18, 1954 to his loving parents, Bertle Peterson and Klara Elderidge in St. Paul, MN. He was the youngest of three siblings, wth his brother Dale and sister Debra. At a young age he and his family moved to Spokane, WA where he attended University High School and was proud to be a Titan.

After high school, Daryl bought a Peterbilt semi- truck. He drove for years, then left driving to become a Landstar Ranger dispatch agent and successfully owned and loved his work for more than 20 years.

He then met the love and light of his life, Melinda Jean Chavez in 2004. They were happily together for 12 years before they celebrated their marriage on March 19 of this year. Daryl’s family includes his sons, Brandon, Dustin, Daniel, and his daughter Elizabeth. He opened his home to his step children, Roman, Robert, and Shon, who are in his heart as his own. His family was his world – his wife Melinda, the children, and their grandchildren, Dustin Jr., and Charlee. They were surrounded by family and many friends who they cherished very much.

Daryl and Melinda were each other’s treasure. He was a great and wonderful man, filled with lots of jokes. He meant a lot and touched many people’s lives, will never be forgotten and always missed.
