David G. Carty passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2023 at Hospice House of North Idaho. He was born Sept. 20th, 1956 in Spokane to George & JoAnn Carty. He grew up in Spokane and resided in Post Falls for the past 20 years. He attended Gonzaga Prep and then served in the Navy. He was a Gonzaga University alumni. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and was most recently employed by Medtronics. He enjoyed a brief retirement and was able to travel, as well as play golf and pool. He also enjoyed being an umpire for an Idaho boys baseball team.
Dave is survived by his mother Joni, sister Cindy, brothers Robert & Kevin, special niece Melissa, aunts, uncles, and multiple cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Sherry and most recently his father George.
