She graduated from McCook High School in 1945.
She married John Reed Jr. in 1946 and they had three children together.
Shortly after marrying the couple moved to Anaconda, MT, where they both worked at the Anaconda Copper Mine. They moved to Denver in 1955.
Jean spent most of her adult life in Denver. She worked for over 30 years for the J.C. Penney Co. as a personnel manager and retired in 1992. After retiring, she was an assistant manager for the apartment complex where she resided.
She moved to Post Falls, ID in 2016 to be near her daughter, Pam.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Pam and son-in-law, Jerry. Her three grandchildren Jill, Todd and Stephanie. Two great granddaughters Heather and Morgan. One great great grandson, Beau. She is preceded in death by sons Steve and Robert and granddaughter Hope.
