Born in Clay Center, Kansas to Charles and Eugenia, George was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlene Proell and Kathryn Green, and an infant twin brother. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hauserman, son, Shawn Hauserman (Susi Prescott), daughter Kim Brus (Shan), grandchildren Jacob and Katie Brus, as well as his sister, Creta Toothaker, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
George loved spending time with his friends and family, playing cards, watching baseball, and Gonzaga basketball. After many decades in the grocery business, George retired from Tidyman’s. He was a long time member of the Spokane Valley Eagles.
George will be deeply missed by his friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
