September 29, 1918 – February 27, 2012

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother.

She slipped quietly away to be with our Lord on February 27, 2012 at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

She is survived by four children: Carole Randall of Mesa, AZ, Sharon Queen, Sandra Carpenter and Richard Funden of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was born in Spokane, WA and lived here all of her life. She worked at Alsco Linen Supply for many years until her retirement and made many friends. She was one of God’s children and was God’s blessing to us. She will always be remembered for her love, her laugh, her faithfulness and her arms that were open to all.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206. A private graveside will be on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Peone Prairie Cemetery in Mead, WA.

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow in humble adoration,

And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!
