

Jackie (Bolen) Person, age 97, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully on April 30th at Spokane Valley Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia.
Jackie was born December 3, 1927, in East Wenatchee, Washington to Delbert and Genevieve Bolen. She married Carl H. Person on August 30, 1946, and was married for 43 years. They moved to Spokane from East Wenatchee in 1956 and made their home in Spokane Valley. They had three daughters, Sharon Baump-Barker, Patricia Hatch, and Chris Haneke. She was an Apple Blossom Princess in her senior year of high school in East Wenatchee. She enjoyed many summers at their cabin on Priest Lake, Idaho. Jackie worked for many years for Edgecliff Hospital now Brookdale Retirement Center and Newberry's Department store at U-City Mall. She was a member of the Spokane Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Genevieve Bolen, her husband Carl Person, her sisters Francis Berube, Betty White, and her eldest daughter Sharon Baump.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia Hatch and Chirs (Walt) Haneke, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Jackie will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Pines Cemetery. 1402 S. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley, WA 99206, followed by a reception at Chris and Walt's home.
She will be dearly missed.
