

Jan, as she was affectionately known, was born on October 28, 1940, in Rita, West Virginia, to Lorenzo Dow and Lucille C Harless.
In 1960 she met and married the love of her life. They promptly moved to the Pacific Northwest and started their family. After that move they continued to move around in Washington and Idaho several times until they settled in Spokane to raise their children, during that time Jan worked a several jobs, waiting tables, working in a few retail stores, even working in the kitchen at Sacred heart hospital, but the one she loved doing and continued for 30+ years was a property manager, for James S Black and Alvin J Wolff, meeting so many people that became family, while working for Alvin J Wolff they moved to GA. and Florida a couple times for a total of approx 10 yrs off and on. When she retired from that profession they planned to spend lots of time with thier many many grand and great grandchildren.
Jan will be remembered for her love of chicken knick knacks, her flower gardens, sewing, love for ALL Family (blood or not), her kindness and open arms for everyone she met.
Jan is survived by her husband of 65+ years, Douglas Raymond I, her sons: Martin Craig (Mat), Douglas Raymond II, David Allen, her Daughter Kimberly Dawn (Bret), 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many many great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 4th son Bryan, 2 daughter-in-laws Dagmar and Vanessa, granddaughters Lacy Alexandria, Cami Antonia and Bonnie Rose.
Per Jans wishes there will not be a funeral.
A celebration of Jan's life will be scheduled at a later date.
