Beck, Joanna (age 80) passed away suddenly on February 25, 2011. She is survived by her four children: Sons, Joseph (Ann) Beck, Greg (Mindy) Beck, all of Spokane, WA; Tony (Kim)Beck of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter, Georgia (Craig) Cline of Spokane; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Beck, in 2003; her parents, Erva Bonnett, and Addie and Bill Bailey, as well as numerous brothers and other relatives. Joanna was born in 1930 in Elk, WA. She attended Roger’s High School, and waitressed at the original Knight’s Diner. She got much enjoyment out of camping and traveling. She opened her heart and her home to fostering children, and her door was always open to family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4th, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
