Joe Begovich

(Crazy Joe)

Born September 24, 1927 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to parents Marko and Evanka Begovich. Passed away March 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. He moved to Elk, Washington when he was 6 yrs old. He attended school at Elk Grade School and Riverside High School. Joe joined the Navy after High School for 2 years of active duty and continued as a Naval Reservist for another 18 years. He was employed as a truck driver for P.I.E for forty years. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores Begovich. his daughter Judi Degnan (Bill) and son Marco Begovich (Renee). Grandchildren: Jeremy Draper, Tony Begovich (Jennifer), Joey Begovich, Josh Begovich (Ashlie) and Heidi Combs (Brandan). Great-Grandchildren: Payton Begovich (5) and Zoey Begovich (10mos).

A visitation will be held Thursday March 15 and Friday March 16 from 4-8pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, Saturday March 17th at 10:00am.
