BOHEN, Joseph Julius “Joe” (Age 93) 11/27/21 – 10/09/15 Born in Roberts, Idaho to Catherine Edelmayer-Bohen. Joe served in the US Marine Corp during WWII and married Goldie Mae Steppa on July 17, 1952 in Tacoma, WA. They made their home in Spokane, WA where they raised their family. Joe enjoyed raising cattle and growing a large garden to feed his family. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Mead, WA. Joe enjoyed doing mechanic work for family and friends; fixed many bikes for all the neighborhood kids; hunting, playing horseshoes and games, traveling, and making macramé lawn chairs. Joe is survived by his spouse Goldie and their children Larry (Annie), Albert, Kathy (Chuck), Angie (Doug), Jody (Jim), and Rita. Grandchildren: Jeremie, Marianne & Camille; Keith & Tracey; Tim & Christina; Nicole & Michael; Marie & Samantha; and twelve great grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his Mother Catherine Hogan and Sister Eva McLeod.
The memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Thornhill Valley Funeral Chapel.
