From the University of Idaho, he earned a BS in Agronomy and a Master’s in Plant Science; and he served as a Navy Lieutenant during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Verna; his daughter Debra Jordan (David), grandchildren, Anne Jordan, Elizabeth Devitt (Paul) and Thomas Jordan (Samantha); great grandchildren Madeleine, William, Kate, Jack, Owen, Alexander, Jake, and Harper.
