Myrtle F. Haase

Myrtle went to her Lord on February 10, 2012. She was born in Drake, ND on August 28, 1920, one of six children – 5 girls and one boy.

She met Lloyd Haase and they were married at Redeemer Lutheran Church in June of 1940. He preceded her into Heaven in 1991.

Myrtle became a floral designer and worked for Liberty Park Florist for many years until they bought a small farm in Otis Orchards. She was kept busy by growing her flowers, vegetables, driving hay trucks and taking care of Lloyd.

She is survived by one son Clyde and daughter-in-law Caryl of Spokane; two grandsons Chadd of Seattle and Chris and wife Jonelle of Spokane; great-grandchildren Madison, Tyler and Logan. She is also survived by two sisters Florence Krause of Spokane and Videll Dungey of Roseburg, OR and several nieces and nephews.

Myrtle was always there to help in her quiet unassuming way. Myrtle has been a faithful servant of her Lord for 9 ½ years. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Memorial gifts may be made to the new Playground fund at Redeemer Lutheran Church.Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schaefer Road, Spokane Valley with Pastors Marty Hewitt and Dave Noll officiating.
