Rodney K. Ladwig, Sr., 83, passed away at home on September 10, 2024 in Spokane Valley, WA. He is survived by his children; Rory Ladwig (Shannon) of Ventura, CA, Pam Mulcahy (TJ) of Batavia, NY, Jinger Dittmer (John) of Davenport, WA, Reese Ladwig of Colorado Springs, CO and Ginnie Ladwig of Hardin, MT; his sisters, Mikki Lupfer of Liberty Lake, WA and Sharon Groh (Marvin) of Almira, WA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews . He is preceded in death by his wife, Deana Ladwig; parents, Elmer Ladwig and Anna Houston, brothers, Sam Ladwig and Gary “Pete” Ladwig; son, Rodney K. Ladwig, Jr.; and grandson, Jason Claar.
Rod lead a full life. He was a Navy veteran. He enjoyed riding in rodeos in his younger years. He was an amazing stockcar driver, winning the championship at the Ephrata Speedway through the years he raced. Rod loved to go fishing, play country western music on his guitar and drink beer. He is loved and will be truly missed.
A memorial service for family will be held at the Wilbur Cemetery and Big Bend Golf & CC.
