Sharon L. Fitzgerald

Sharon Lynn Fitzgerald, age 69 of St. John, WA passed away at her home April 29, 2010. She was born June 4, 1940 in Spokane, WA to Ray and Fern (Harding) Waller. Sharon is survived by her loving family, Rhonda F. Weathers, Rick Van DeBogart, Roseanna Peterson, Ray E. Weathers, Brenda Trunkey, Tammy Bailey; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis K. Waller, Larry R. Waller; sisters in law, Merna Waller and Doris Waller; many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter Sue Stiffler; two sons; two Great Grandsons; and her husband Richard Lee “Dick” Fitzgerald. Sharon was raised in the Spokane area and moved to St. John where they farmed until retirement. Sharon and Dick loved to golf, garden and travel to their Yuma home in the winter time. Sharon always enjoyed having family members visit her at the St. John home especially the grandchildren. She had many friends that she loved dearly. She will be missed by her faithful puppy companion Marilee, they shared many quiet hours. A memorial service will take place in the Colonial Chapel of Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM.
